(3) Simplify the product name. When simplifying the product name, according to the previously registered information, the products that can be merged are classified into a major item. All products with the same product name and brand are classified into the same major item. (4) Enter the material number and write the SKU number. The material number is the barcode of the product itself. The SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) number is a code for the product to be sold on the e-commerce platform. Each product corresponds to a SKU number. The code sold through the platform is associated with the material number stored in the ERP/WMS system of the e-commerce company. Because warehouse management is based on material number and SKU number, and sales on the platform are based on SKU number, there must be a connection between the two. For example, the material number name “American Mead The product barcode of “Johnson Mead Johnson Infant Formula Milk Powder Stage 1 (0-12 months old baby 765g*2 (two cans)” is 300875107249. Then add the SKU number in the product registration data pool. The writing rule can be: national 2-letter code AM + brand initials MJ + serial number 0001, that is, the written SKU number is AMMJ0001. Because the same brand has different models, there are multiple SKU numbers.
When reviewing, it should be noted that the material number of the product is involved in the subsequent exit and three-order matching, and it is difficult to change it later. Therefore, it is necessary to check it. Once there is an error (it can be checked during the sorting, and if there is an incorrect material number, the registration needs to be changed), it will affect the subsequent exit and entry.
(5) Proofread the positive list.
