The practical steps for sellers to use FBA for delivery are as follows.
The first step is for sellers to register for FBA. On the Amazon service page, click “Fullment by Amazon”, fill in the company name on the page that jumps out and check the box to agree to Amazon’s relevant terms and agreements, and select the FBA service to successfully register.
The second step is for sellers to convert the products to FBA SKU. On the homepage, click “Inventory”, select the SKU to be converted, and select “Change to Full by Amazon” in the Action. You can also select multiple items to convert the products to FBA SKU.
The third step is for sellers to confirm the FBA products. After selecting the FBA products to be shipped, jump to the next page and click “Convert Only” to confirm the conversion to FBA delivery.
The fourth step is for sellers to create a delivery note. The details are as follows.
(1) Set Quantity. Enter the quantity of the product to be shipped under “unit”. If the seller did not enter the product packaging type when uploading the product before, you also need to enter the product packaging type here. There are two types of packaging, namely mixed packaging (different products are packed together) and original packaging (the same product or SKU is packed in one box).
(2) Prepare Products. Check the SKU variety and quantity to ensure that the SKU and quantity of the physical product are exactly the same as those filled in when it was created.
(3) Label Products. Every product shipped to the FBA warehouse must be labeled. Amazon’s backend will allow sellers to choose whether Amazon will label it or the seller will label it themselves. If the seller chooses to label it himself, he can select “Merchant” under “Who labels” and select the label paper of the appropriate specifications to print the label.
(4) Review Shipments. Check the shipment’s origin, packaging type and other information. Here, sellers can see which warehouse Amazon has assigned the product to. Each shipping name represents a warehouse, and the seller can see the products stored in the warehouse. If the seller does not want to split the warehouse, he can set up warehouse consolidation in the backend in advance (there is an additional fee for warehouse consolidation). After confirming that there is no problem, click “Confirm Shipment”.
(5) Prepare Shipment. First, check the goods in the shipment; second, select the transportation service; third, set the box information; finally, print the shipment label.
(6) Shipping Service. The seller needs to select the shipping method and carrier. Generally, the default shipping method is small parcel express, and the default carrier is “DHL EXPRESS (SUA) INC”. If the shipment weight is around 60 kg, you can choose small parcel delivery.
The fifth step is to fill in the logistics tracking number. After obtaining the tracking number, change the order status to shipped.
For novice sellers, shipping by Amazon FBA is very convenient. If the delivery time is not urgent, you can choose to use sea transportation for FBA first-leg delivery. If it is an urgent replenishment, you can use direct express delivery.
