Global Selling is an official Amazon store opening method for Chinese sellers, which was officially introduced to China in early 2012. It is just the name of an Amazon project. It does not mean that you can sell in all countries of Amazon by opening an account. Whether registering an Amazon seller account through Global Selling or self-registration, you need to register for each site.

Sellers who open a global store need to provide an email address, the name, address, and contact information of the seller or company, a dual-currency credit card (Visa, etc.) that can pay in US dollars, and a phone number that can be contacted during the registration period.

1. Amazon Global Selling North American Site Qualification Review Materials

Opening a store using this method requires review of the company and some other content. The seller qualification review materials that Amazon Global Selling North American Site needs to provide are as follows.

The company’s legal person identity certificate has the following requirements.

① The name on the identity certificate must be consistent with the name of the legal person on the business license.

② It must be issued by mainland China, Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan, China.

③ Provide color photos/scans of both sides, black and white copies are not accepted.

④ The pictures must be clear and readable.

⑤ The identity certificate should be valid.

The business license has the following requirements.

① It must be issued by Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

② Mainland China: Business license.

③ Hong Kong: Company registration certificate and business registration regulations.

④ Taiwan: Limited company establishment registration form/joint stock company establishment registration form/limited company change registration form/joint stock company change registration form.

⑤ Provide color photos/scans, black and white copies are not accepted, and the pictures must be clear and readable.

⑥ The Mainland China business license should be more than 60 days away from the expiration date, and the Hong Kong business registration regulations should be more than 45 days away from the expiration date.

⑦ The address on the business license must be consistent with the office address “business address” filled in on the seller platform.

If you are a company seller in mainland China, there is no mandatory requirement for uploading bank statements. Sellers can choose to upload or place a blank document. If the seller has multiple copies, they need to merge them into one file for uploading. If you are a company seller in Hong Kong, you need to submit another certificate to show that the director is the actual director of the company, and submit this certificate together with your identity certificate.

2. KYC review of Amazon Global Selling European Sites

According to the relevant requirements of European regulators, Amazon needs to verify the identity of sellers who open stores in European countries including the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, etc. (referred to as KYC review).
