1) False shipment
False shipment refers to the act of misleading buyers or AliExpress by filling in an invalid shipping number or a valid shipping number that is obviously irrelevant to the order transaction within the specified delivery period. For example, in order to circumvent the penalty of not selling the goods, fill in an invalid shipping number or a shipping number that is obviously irrelevant to the order transaction.
According to the severity, false shipment behavior is divided into general false shipment violations and serious false shipment violations.
Serious false shipment violations include but are not limited to the following situations: the amount of the false shipment order is large; the buyer and seller maliciously collude to mislead the AliExpress platform to release loans through false shipment violations without real order transactions; general false shipment violations occur multiple times.
2) Credit and sales speculation
Credit and sales speculation refers to the act of increasing account credit points or product sales by improper means to hinder buyers’ efficient shopping rights.
3) Inducing early receipt
Inducing early receipt refers to the seller inducing buyers to confirm receipt in advance without receiving the goods. For general violations, the account will be warned; for serious violations, the account will be frozen for 7 days. For particularly serious violations, the account will be directly closed or cleared.
4) Goods Not as Described
Goods Not as Described means that the goods received by the buyer do not match the description or promise of the goods made by the seller when the transaction was concluded in terms of category, parameters, materials, specifications, etc.
(1) If it is judged to be serious goods not as described, the account will be directly closed.
(2) If it is judged to be general goods not as described, the account will be frozen for 7 days for the first violation; for two or more violations, the account will be frozen for 30 days or closed. (Note: AliExpress will decide to close the account based on the severity of the seller’s violation.)
Serious “goods not as described” behaviors include but are not limited to the following situations: ① Sending empty packages to buyers; ② The ordered product is an electronic storage device, and the product capacity is seriously inconsistent with the product description or promise; ③ The ordered product is computer hardware, and the product configuration is seriously inconsistent with the product description or promise; ④ The ordered product and the shipped product are not of the same type and the value is very different.
5) Malicious harassment Malicious harassment refers to sellers harassing buyers by bad means during or after a transaction, such as asking buyers to give good reviews or verbally abusing buyers due to disputes. Warning for one violation; freezing the account for 3 days for two or more violations; freezing the account for 7 to 14 days or closing the account for particularly serious circumstances.
6) Illegal profit
Illegal profit refers to the seller’s violation of AliExpress rules and suspected infringement of others’ property rights or other legitimate rights and interests.
Illegal profit behavior includes but is not limited to the following situations: ① Sellers induce buyers to violate the normal transaction process of AliExpress to obtain improper benefits during transactions; ② Sellers defraud transaction funds by publishing or providing false or seriously inconsistent goods, services or logistics information; ③ Sellers continue to register after their accounts are closed due to violations of AliExpress rules, or directly or indirectly control and use other accounts; ④ Sellers violate AliExpress rules and make illegal profits through other means.
7) Serious disruption of platform order
Serious disruption of platform order refers to acts that interfere with platform management, seriously disrupt platform order, and damage the legitimate rights and interests of other users or platforms.
Serious behaviors that disrupt the order of the platform include but are not limited to the following situations: ① Malicious circumvention of platform rules or regulatory measures; ② Interference with other users’ normal transactions through malicious violations; ③ Other behaviors that seriously disrupt the order of the platform.
8) Unfair competition
Unfair competition refers to the following behaviors of users.
(1) Improper use of other people’s rights:
① Sellers improperly use other people’s trademark rights, copyrights and other rights in the product information published or the store name, domain name, etc. used;
② The product information published by the seller or other information used causes consumers to misunderstand or confuse.
(2) Sellers maliciously place orders, make malicious comments, or make malicious complaints against other sellers through their own or other member accounts, affecting the reputation and normal operation of other sellers.
9) Breach of promise
Breach of promise refers to the seller’s failure to provide services to the buyer as promised, thereby damaging the buyer’s legitimate rights and interests.
