The calculation method of the percentage of overdue shipments is crucial for managing and monitoring the supply chain. When we can quickly and accurately calculate the percentage of overdue shipments, we can find problems in time and take measures to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the supply chain. This article will show you how to calculate the percentage of overdue shipments on ozon.

Overdue shipments

The percentage of goods that were not transferred to the logistics service due to your own fault in the last 7 days.

If the overdue shipment indicator exceeds 20%, then Ozon may block the realFBS warehouse.

Overdue shipment calculation

Overdue goods and the number of days you are overdue for delivery will affect this indicator. After violating the delivery deadline, please transfer the package to the logistics service on the next working day, even if you have set it as a rest day.

Ozon updates the indicators daily:

1. The goods in the last 7 days are summarized, and the current day and the previous day are not included. Goods that are more than two days old will be considered as separate goods.

2. Compare the estimated delivery date in the user center with the actual time when the goods are transferred to the logistics service.

3. Calculate the total amount of the index according to the following formula:

Overdue shipment = Goods delivered to the logistics service overdue / All goods that must be transported × 100%.

Cancelled goods are not included in the index calculation before they are transferred to the logistics service.

Calculation characteristics:

After sending the first ten self-delivery orders, Ozon will start calculating the daily index.

Ozon includes the following goods in the calculation:

Itself did not assemble the goods on time;

Itself has transported the goods to the receiving point, but the shipper cannot receive the goods for any reason;

Itself transferred the goods to the logistics service on time, but did not emphasize the tracking number – for integrated shippers;

Itself transferred the goods to the logistics service on time, but did not change the status or did not change the situation on time – for non-integrated shippers or its own logistics services.

Calculation of Overdue Shipment Days

The last 7 calendar days are included in the calculation of estimated overdue shipments, the current day and the previous day are not included.

If the seller’s warehouse is blocked and there are not enough new orders, please wait until the block is over and then start selling from zero. The ban period is 3 days.

Example

No goods were shipped on June 7th, and the seller’s warehouse was blocked on June 9th due to the overdue shipment percentage.

The following goods are included in the calculation when estimating the block date and unblock date:

June 9th to June 1st-7th;

June 10th to June 2nd-8th;

June 11th to June 3rd-9th.

Ozon will unblock on June 12th and track the overdue shipment percentage for a week. The system will check the indicator again on June 19th.

In order to avoid triggering a warehouse blockade, sellers need to comply with Ozon’s regulations on overdue shipments and avoid overdue shipments exceeding 20%. This can not only effectively improve logistics efficiency, but also ensure the normal operation of Ozon warehouses.

Therefore, sellers should pay close attention to the order processing time and maintain efficient supply chain management to ensure that orders are delivered on time and improve buyer satisfaction. Only by doing a good job of order management and complying with regulations can you operate smoothly and establish a solid cooperative relationship with Ozon.
